4 Months Old!

The day before her 4 month birthday Aviana practiced her baby push ups!

Now tummy time is not so bad!

Long Over Due Update #3

Aviana is rolling over--back to front! Aviana has been trying hard to roll over for a few weeks now and I feel very fortunate to see the first successful attempt! This picture was immediately taken after her roll.

So happy Kelly Van came to visit from the frozen tundra of Michigan to the slightly warmer desert of New Mexico.

We girls had a great time playing all weekend! Lots of baby time . . . Mom and Kelly snuck away to ride the tram and do a quick tour of Albuquerque.

Long Over Due Update #2

Ann Marie and Mike snuck away to do a day's skiing at Ski Santa Fe. First time back on skis post op was a little scary but soon I was swooshing like a pro!

Aviana's first Valentine's Day! We celebrated a little late as she kept falling asleep before card opening! Next year Aviana will enjoy the chocolate too!

Hildy's comment on Valentine's Day . . . no chocolate for the doggies!

I love you too Aviana!

We all enjoyed the Olympics. Aviana's favorite sport was hockey though she watched a lot of curling and skiing as well.

Then it was off for a weekend in Durango with friends. Aviana again was a good little traveler, sleeping almost the entire drive to and fro. Here Mom and Aviana are goofing around on the makeshift changing table!

Can't be ski in/ski out penthouse condo! Mike skied both days while Ann skied a half day (thanks babysitter Bobbi-Jo!) then enjoyed a massage. Next trip scheduled is Florida for Carl and Christy's wedding!

Long Over Due Update #1

Aviana turns 3 months old!

The last few weeks have been full of her laughter and smiles!

A moment spent pondering the meaning of 3 months . . .

Aviana supervises Mom playing with milk.

And Mom has no idea what is going on with her hair!

Scout is very helpful during playtime with Aviana!

Aviana's new favorite activity is standing, with help of course. We wonder if she'll skip crawling in favor of walking or perhaps start out at a run like Cousin Nyah!
