Summer Heat

With the temperature soaring close to 100 degrees in Albuquerque the Sekerak family is working on staying cool! Mike has escaped the heat by heading to Colorado for his two week annual training with the Air Force. At the end he will have completed his instructor training and start teaching airmen how to build rockets to the moon. In his down time Mike has entertained himself mountain biking, running, bar hopping and seeing all our Colorado friends . . . I sent my husband away to Camp Colorado!

Meanwhile back in the desert the dogs and I have finished clearing out the baby's room. Painters are coming next week and by mid-August a nursery will be born!

As you know we always welcome guests; we have a lovely guest bathroom as seen below. Well this was mid-reorganizing the 3 bedrooms upstairs!

Not only did I carry all these treasures into and out of the bedrooms but I continue to carry my ever-expanding belly around. 24 weeks and bumped out!

Our daughter is already a Dancing Queen. She has really been "be-bopping" around my uterus. The last 3 weeks she has decided to show us her moves. Mike can now feel and see the movement--most evenings they enjoy a father-daughter dance!

The hot summer days wind down with beautiful sunsets . . or perhaps I have heat stroke and just imagined the pretty colors!
